Additional action on setup

For any definition such as a receiver, or an ordering party, you may need to edit, approve, or view the relevant details.

 

This section provides information about possible actions while defining a setup:

 

Action and activity icons depend on user access rights. You can perform these actions for multiple setup records or individual records, as required.

Submit: To send a definition for approval, select the definition and click Submit.

Discard: To discard any activity performed on a definition, select the definition and click Discard.

Approve: To approve a definition, select the definition and click Approve.

Reject: To reject a definition, select the definition and click Reject.

Enable: To enable an earlier disabled definition, select the definition and click Enable.

Suspend: To disable a currently active definition, select the definition and click Suspend.

Unlock: Select a user and use the link to unlock the login status of a user. For more information about unlocking a user, see unlock user.

Reset User: For more information, see reset user.

Selection box

To select a definition, use the corresponding check box. To select all definitions, select the check box in the header column.

Modify

To modify a definition, click Select drop-down and click Modify Record corresponding to the definition.

You cannot modify any definition that is Submitted, pending for approval or is suspended.

View Record

To view the details of a definition, click Select drop-down and click View Record corresponding to the definition.

 

You cannot edit this information.

View History

To view the maker checker information of the definition, click Select drop-down and click View History corresponding to the definition.

The next actions to be taken on the definition are displayed in the drop-down list.
