Understanding payment status

You can choose to approve payments at the transaction or batch level.

 

1.     Navigate to Payments.

2.     Click Payment Center. Payment center page is displayed.

Status Table

The following table details the possible values for payment status in Fusion Cash Management (FCM):

 

Status

Description

Actions

Draft

An incomplete initiation of a transaction.

A batch has three instruments and you have added only two, or the instrument information is not complete in one of three instruments.

If the draft transaction is completed and saved, the transaction status changes to Pending Submit.

Pending Submit

Transaction information is complete and saved but the transaction is not submitted.

After the transaction is submitted, the status changes to Pending Approval or Pending My Approval.

Pending Approval

Transaction information is submitted but the transaction is pending for approval with some other user.

Pending My Approval

Transaction needs to be approved.

The transaction must be sent to bank.

If the product is set up for auto-send after approval, the transaction is sent to bank automatically after it is approved.

Pending Approval 2

A transaction requires second or next level of approval if the particular transaction approval cycle requires multi-level approval.

Pending Send

A transaction that is put on hold. This status is displayed to the users who have the rights to send the transaction.

Transaction must be sent.

 

 

 

Rejected

A transaction that is rejected by an approver.

No further action possible on the transaction.

Sent to bank

A transaction that is sent to bank for processing.

This transaction receives its status from the bank, when processing is done.

Deleted

A transaction that is discarded. An approver can discard a transaction before it is sent to bank.

Transaction is soft deleted from the bank.

Pending Repair

An uploaded transaction that requires repairing.

Edit the transaction and submit it.

Debited

An amount that is debited from one account to other account.

Paid

An amount that is completely paid.

Returned

A transaction that is returned from the bank.

Stopped / Cancelled

A transaction that is stopped or cancelled.

For Cancel Approve

A cancelled transaction need to be approved.

Cancel Requested

Status received when your transaction is requested to bank to cancel.

In Process

Status received from bank when your transaction is in process.

-

Processed

Status received from bank when your transaction is processed.

-

Failed

A transaction that has failed the processing cycle. This can be for reasons such as transactions can fail in validations.

Debit Failed

The account was not debited due to, for example insufficient funds.

 

Reversal Pending Approval

A reversed transaction needs to be approved.

Reversal Approved

A reversed transaction that is approved by an approver.

Reversal Rejected

A reversed transaction that is rejected by an approver.

Reversal Pending My Approval

A reversed transaction needs to be approved.

-

Reversed

A transaction that is reversed.

-

Exception Mixed

A transaction in a batch payment that requires various combinations of Reversed and Stopped status.

Printed

The instrument is downloaded and printed by the client user and marked as Print Confirm.

-

Stale

Instrument marked as Print Confirm but not processed for payment for configured period by the bank.
