Transferring funds

Liquidity Management System (LMS) enables you to transfer funds using an agreement within the accounts that are assigned to the agreement for cases where a particular movement is failed.

To transfer funds using a sweep agreement

The icon indicates the presence of a list containing the relevant information. You can choose to type the value or type % to view the list.

 

1.     Navigate to Liquidity.

2.     Click Sweeping >> Sweep Transactions. The Sweep Transactions page is displayed.

3.     Select the required agreement and from Select dropdown click Transfer. The Transaction Entry popup window is displayed.

4.     The Client Name, Agreement Code, Agreement Name, Transaction Type, and Value Date fields are auto-displayed.

You cannot edit the Value Date. The default value date is the current application date.

5.     Specify the Participating Account. The seek list displays only those accounts that are available in the agreement for debiting the funds.

6.     Specify the Contra Account that receives the funds. Only accounts available in the agreement for receiving the funds and linked to the selected participating account in an instruction are displayed in the seek list.

7.     Add Transaction Remarks, if any.

8.     Specify the amount that you want to transfer in From Amount the To Amount is derived based on the From Amount value.

9.     Click Submit. The transaction moves to the Approval Queue for approval.
